We are members of the Editorial Freelancers Association, a national not-for-profit organization — a 501(c)6 — headquartered in New York City. EFA is recognized throughout the publishing industry as a high-standards source for professional editorial assistance.
Over the years, individual members of the Stacks Editing team have been associated with professional organizations promoting exemplary skill in classroom teaching, including the National Council of Teachers of English, the Georgia Council of Teachers of English, the National Association of Special Education Teachers, the Professional Association of Georgia Educators, the National Education Association and the Georgia Education Association.
Members of the Stacks Editing team have held coveted memberships with professional journalism organizations such as the American Society of News Editors, Associated Press Managing Editors, National Press Club, Florida Press Club, Society of Professional Journalists and Investigative Reporters & Editors.
Stacks Editing team members hold memberships in two active local associations in Augusta, Ga., where we are based: the Authors Club of Augusta and the Augusta Richmond County Historical Society.
